California Elopement Magic
Samantha and Robbie connected on their second date, wandering the beach, and talking for hours… They tell me it was then they knew they could be something really special together. They were right. They are magic together… As was their California elopement in Big Sur! I loved how intentional they were with each element of their day. They knew they wanted to spend their wedding day focusing solely on each other and their relationship. No one else around. Nothing but nature and their love story. Oh, and don’t forget, there was me, documenting it all!
How to Have a Relaxed California Elopement
These two really did it right! They booked a raaaad airbnb and came up from SoCal a little early to settle in, and get all sorts of relaxed and cozy before their elopement. It was pretty perfect. Samantha made sure her detail shots included some special touches… The dress her Momma wore when she and Samantha’s father married, as well as a picture and ashes of her beloved father, to include in her flat lay. That is the thing about elopements, you can have them include any and all elements your heart desires. From details that mean the world to you, to a first dance and a champagne toast, elopements are all about throwing out the rulebook and dreaming big!
